How it works
A nearby phone finder you start and control
1. Choose a sound
Select claps, whistles, or both. For claps, choose one, two, or three. Two claps are a useful starting point because ordinary household sounds are less likely to match.
2. Run the quick sound test
Place the phone where you normally leave it, then try your signal. Quiet, normal, and noisy-room presets give you a sensible starting sensitivity.
3. Start listening
Android shows an ongoing microphone notification. Audio is checked live and discarded immediately; no recording or audio file is created.
4. Follow the alert
A matching sound can ring, vibrate, or flash the phone. Each response has its own switch, and the alert stops automatically at the chosen time limit.
5. Stop anytime
Use the large Stop button, the notification action, the alert screen, or—when enabled—a volume button while the alert screen is visible.
